by

Reports of nuclear war resumed in Moscow on Saturday.

“Russia believes that the dangers of a nuclear war must be kept to a minimum and that any armed conflict between nuclear forces “, Vladimir Germakov, head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which is responsible for non-proliferation and conducting inspections, warned on Saturday, according to TASS.

The Russian official stressed that “all nuclear powers must adhere to the logic set out in official documents aimed at preventing a nuclear war.” “Russia clearly follows this understanding,” Germakov said.

The telegram of the Russian news agency was relayed by Reuters.

A Russian television show also aired a “simulation” of nuclear strikes with Sarmat missiles, during which a graphic was shown according to which a missile fired from Kaliningrad in the Baltic Sea would have reached 106 seconds in Berlinσε 200 seconds in Paris and to 202 seconds in London.

New fierce US-Russia confrontation

The US Department of Defense on Friday accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of acting “perverted” in the invasion of Ukraine.

Representative John Kirby became apparently emotionally charged, wondering how a “moral man” could justify the atrocities committed by Russia.

“I do not think we fully appreciated the extent to which (Mr Putin) would reach this kind of violence and cruelty,” Kirby said.
But Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, denied the allegations. He described Mr Kirby’s comments as “offensive and unacceptable”. Mr. Antonov accused Kirby of “resorting to street insults.”

“It has become the rule here for (US) government officials to base their judgments on the dirty lies of the Ukrainian authorities,” the Russian ambassador said.

Kyiv: Bodies of 3 men found tortured and shot

The bodies of three men who were tortured and shot were found in a grave near Bouka on Saturday, with the victims’ hands and eyes tied, Kiev police said.

“The victims were tortured for a long time (…) In the end, each of them was shot in the temple,” Kiev police chief Andriy Nebitov said in a statement.

“The victims were found with their hands tied, with clothes around their faces, so that they could not see anything and some with their mouths gagged,” he added.

The bodies of the three men were found in Mirotsky, a village near Butsa, a city near Kyiv that has become a symbol of the horrors of war in Ukraine and where many civilian bodies have been found.

“According to preliminary information, the occupiers tried to hide the traces of their violence and so they threw the corpses into a pit and buried them,” Nebitov said.

Kyiv accuses Russian forces of carrying out massacres after the discovery of dozens of corpses wearing civilian clothes in locations around Kyiv during their brief occupation by the Russian army.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office has announced that it has launched a preliminary investigation into ten Russian soldiers suspected of committing war crimes in Butsa. The attorney general said via Twitter that the investigation targeted ten soldiers of the 64th Motorized Brigade, which belongs to the 35th Army, “for brutal treatment of civilians and other violations of the law of war.”
