A few years later, this year’s Pride celebration promises to be a protest party at a monumental party.
Bristol, London, Manchester and Brighton are just a few of the British cities raising rainbow flags for a grand parade.
But the UK is not the only one attending the event. There are major pride events in Berlin, Sweden, and even Tremolinos.
So grab your face paint, strap on your harness, and see where you can spread your love this summer.
Tremolinos- until June 5. From October 31 to November 6
ახ That is true. The Costa del Sol may be well known to the English as a place to pack, but take the quiz in Madrid Reno.
So if you’ve played Gay Gran Canaria, Madrid or Barcelona, it’s good to come back.
The exclusive La Nogalera golf course, several gay beaches in and around the city, and Ritual, one of the largest gay hotels in Europe, are now very popular and have launched two summer and winter prides this year. .. ..

In London, Pride celebrates its 50th anniversary with Britain’s first Pride Parade. This is the first march of 1972 from Hyde Park Corner to Whitehall.
Events are still taking place at TBC elsewhere, but around 1.5 million people have been announced, all clubs have specials (old entries), and Soho will be a bank holiday at 4pm (village) . on the vest and put the G&T in a can). ჭ Sore.

Stop: The shiny new Amano has rooms in Covent Garden from £179.
Brighton-August 5-7
Brighton pride feels like part of the city’s DNA, so everyone gets involved. Find friends at a Cape Town block party, find a crowd at the We Are Fabulous Festival (tickets from 32:32:50) in Preston Park, and have a family wave a flag under the 2022 banner “Love, Protest, Unity.” Find them.
Given the expected 300,000 people, most events are ticketed, so plan ahead. If you’re not local, plan your route home. Please note: these trains! Three days of dissonant screams. Don’t take it any other way.
Do you want to see the sights? Walk down the street and you’ll find an independent boutique. For a little cuisine, visit the Royal Pavilion (Tickets 17-17), the former spa of George IV.
Stop: Marmison Brighton bed by the sea, room from 9149.
Stockholm-August 1-7
For a cool LGBT+ elf vacation in the city, try Scandinavia’s biggest pride in Stockholm. The festival takes place for a week and some 500,000 people take part in the main parade.
There’s also a Pride Park with regular scenes and displays (and a 18+ kink zone), and a Pride House that offers workshops and talks throughout the week.
After strolling through one of Europe’s friendliest and most civilized cities, soak up the rainbow atmosphere, grab a sunset drink and head to Malarpaviljongen, a gay-owned floating bar-restaurant that welcomes everyone to Stockholm.
Do you want to see the sights? A pilgrimage to the ABBA Museum takes you on an interactive journey through one of Pop’s biggest groups (Ticket 22 22.60).
Stop: Rooms at Downtown Camper by Scandic are available from 98pn.
Berlin-July 23
European Party Capital offers a month of pride with two great event options.
This is CSD, or Christopher Street Day, Berlin’s main pride event. The parade goes from Schონnberg, Berlin’s main rock district, to the Brandenburg Gate.
There’s also the Stadtfest a week ago around Nollendorfplatz, which has another weird Berlin feel (think of a kid casually talking in a doll mask next to a demo).
Here for the club? Advance tickets are required for big guns like Berghain (price varies).
Do you want to see the sights? Stroll through the Tiergarten or swap vintage vinyl and retro yarn at Mauerpark, one of the city’s largest Sunday markets, to unwind from the frenzy.
Stop: Art’otel’s trendy Mitte has rooms from £98.
Bristol-July 9
Bristol Pride includes over two weeks of events and activities in the city from June 25 to July 10. This always includes popular dog shows (categories include “owner’s favorite” and “best music sessions”).
There’s also the Queer Vision Film Festival, culminating in a two-week Pride Day in the Downs on Saturday, July 9. Carly Rae Jepsen makes headlines and Anna Matronic leads the O2 Academy after party (Tickets 12-12).
The support bracelet gives you back 77.
Do you want to see the sights? Take a street art tour and cool off with how the likes of Banks got their start (tickets start at 50-7.50), and if it’s hot, Clifton’s Lido (non-members swim, 20-20).
Stop: The stylish Central Hotel Bristol has rooms from £88pn.
Manchester-26-29 August
Manchester Pride ditched the Superstar and its MCR Ply Drive event and went back to its roots this year. The focus was again on the protests, not the pop concerts.
So I look forward to not only the big parades and gay parties, but also the candlelight, the RCM for youth pride, the RCM for family pride, and the human rights forums.
Our advice? Superbia Weekend, a free cultural stone festival held in an alcohol-free zone, is the ideal cerebral accompaniment to the front door.
Do you want to see the sights? From small plates and natural wine to Elst’s modern British manna from former Noma chef Simon Martin, indulge in Ancoats, the city’s hottest new culinary district.
Stop: The Cool Cow Hollow Hotel has rooms from £119pn.
