Frank, a flying Frenchman, was injured when he crashed into Lake Zapata.

The inventor of the flyboard, who worked on a plane, was taken to hospital after falling into 15 meters of water during an exhibition at Lake Biscarrossa on Saturday.

A 40-year-old boy who jumped over the English Channel on a flyboard is said to have “recovered well” after the accident, with only minor injuries.

The footage shows Zapata slowly rising until he loses control.

This causes it to spin several times and crash into the lake in front of the people.

According to French media, he was awake when the ambulance pulled him out of the water.

Authorities later told reporters that they had shown “excellent sensitivity and athletic performance” in hospital.

Other scheduled appearances at the exhibition have been cancelled, confirming Biscarrosse Mayor Helen Ralset.

This is not the first time ski champion Zapata has been injured on a flyboard in the former Army Reserve.

He lost two fingers on the turbine’s first flight in 2016.

Zapata also traveled at 90 mph and shot down a device capable of reaching a staggering height of 10,000 feet on his first attempt to cross the channel in 2019.
