A Manchester woman is convinced that her little bearded dog is deathly misery for Billy Connolly.
A friend of Sally Maher first told her that her Shih Tzu, Nody, was a legendary play on the comedian after the little pooch left to groom a short summer cut earlier this year. ..

After getting this haircut, Sally, 48, says she regularly visits people and watches her little friends as they go for walks.
Cleaning business owners say their “little celebrity” loves attention and often says she stops to attract attention and cause confusion.
Sally from Oldham, Manchester calls the similarity “strange” and adds:
Nody everyone knows where we live, he’s a bit famous. He is well known for his haircuts.
He gets a haircut at Lee’s kennel. Ian specializes in haircuts.
We asked him about his beard and beard look – this is a summer cut and he loves doing it.
“It’s hotter now, he gets a haircut every five weeks.
When we were in Cornwall last year, the little guy would go back and forth, “Mum, this dog has a beard” and say, “Oh, don’t be ridiculous.”
Then he saw it and said “yes”.
He draws a lot of attention wherever he goes. You can’t just walk next to someone, you have to touch them. He’s nice to some people, he’s absolutely wonderful.
“When he’s fully furred, he looks like an Ebokku from Star Wars – they’re two completely different looks.”
The two mothers said that she looked like a comedian, but the child’s soul was like another “wise soul”.
He said, “Reminds me of Mr. Miyagu’s karate kid.
He tells you what he wants just by looking at you, I can read what he wants with his eyes.
“He is the most beloved dog in the world. My daughter Rosie is with me and she takes me out for a cookie.
“He has an interesting side and is treated like royalty with a little knitted blanket and pillow.
“He deserves it. I love him. They all deserve it.”
