If you’ve never worked at McDonald’s, you’re new to the phrase “free time.”
If so, this is a scary word for you, whether it’s been years since you’ve worn a cult staff hat.
Stephen Patura, owner and operator of many McDonald’s franchises in the United States, recently showed what peak lunch times look like for kitchen staff.
Known colloquially as Gap Time, this busy period spans two hours for breakfast, two hours for lunch, and two hours for lunch. And, to put it mildly, they are always in a hurry.
While working one of these shifts, 24-year-old Stephen revealed a multitasking task to use a camera to get him from order to food.
Once the order ticket is issued, the entrepreneur attaches it to the appropriate burger box and then prepares the burger party twice as fast (all modifications needed).
It looks like a bag surrounded by a drawstring.
Even for beginners, it’s interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes. For example, did you know that McDonald’s doesn’t use regular hamburger bottles, but instead uses sauce guns?
You can also see how the kitchen works, with one side burning from the flat top and the other side cooking and cooking. In the middle is a series of drawers that allow staff to move food around and retain heat.
Add the potatoes in oil little by little until they are salty (with other special ingredients) and split. You can see how the cookies are cooked.
On TikTok, Stephen has won many fans for his fast service. Currently, YouTube has more than 26,000 subscribers and TikTok has 1.1 million subscribers.
“Very cool,” one commenter quipped, while another commenter said, “That’s why we love it.”
Since Stephen had been working for McDonald’s since he was 10 years old (because his parents were franchise owners), he practiced a lot.
The next time a fast food worker says it’s easy to find, be humble in your video. It is easy to work very quickly and efficiently.
