Urban explorers have discovered the interior of a 19th-century Chesher Hotel, which must have been demolished to the ground.
Ben, who shares his findings on YouTube, took a photo and video of the hotel earlier this month.
The building is not big for this world because it was demolished by vandalism.
“I saw plans to demolish such a unique one-story building and wanted to document the design and millwork before it was permanently lost,” said Ben.
The property sat vacant for years, first a cabin, then a private school, then a restaurant before becoming a hotel, closing for good in 2017.
“My favorite part of the studio was the 19th-century sculptures of gargoyles and other mythical creatures carved into old houses,” said Ben.

“They were all hand carved so they are amazingly detailed and unique.
The building was originally built for lumber merchants in 1886 and was constructed as a mock Tudor style building with fancy carvings throughout the structure.
“Although the buildings have been damaged by torts, most of them still stand today.
“The cabin was later converted into an independent school.
Then it became a restaurant until it became a hotel that closed in 2017.
“Dismantling due to vandalism is unpleasant and it is impossible to repair the damage to the building.
Hopefully some ornaments will be preserved and placed in the museum because they are unique.
