We all fly to the end, but traveling as a plus-size person is especially difficult.

Plus-size blogger Gerin Chan believes that airlines just don’t cater to large groups.

He presents his story to share the reality of the “fat flight”.

A 25-year-old woman from Vancouver, Canada, continues to travel the world, even though the airline says it’s not designed for people her size.

“I found that a lot of situations, including plus-size travel, weren’t the best fit for my weight,” she said.

“If you use public transportation with a seatbelt that doesn’t fit properly or a seat that’s too small, you won’t even be able to sit in an airplane bathroom. Traveling as a plus-size person can be a daunting task.” .”

Jae’lynn is a US size 6XL (UK size 24) and has chronic pain and disability.

The 25-year-old says she gained “hundreds of pounds” after she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

“After graduating from college in 2018, I got really sick and it took me a year to understand what was happening to me,” she said.

“At that time I was in the hospital and going out for medical care until 2019 when I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. That year I won over £100.”

Gerin says that if plus-sizes want to fly comfortably, many need to dig deep into their pockets to pay for two seats. This makes it impossible for people on a budget.

And if the inaccessibility of the trip wasn’t enough, the troll mainly criticizes him for wanting to travel.

Jae’lynn says that this infestation is widespread in society. So, unfortunately, similar comments on his video are not surprising.

He says:'[One person said] He’s going to crash the plane because of my size. ”

“Many comments say that I had to buy two seats, or they did not give me the right to fly.”

Despite people’s judgement, Jerry won’t let hate discourage her from the best things in life, or stop her from sharing the reality of her journeys through obesity.

In one video he shows how he fights to knock down a chest of drawers, and in another he sees Gerin and her partner on the bathroom screens.

“I was asked what a plane bathroom would look like for a person my size, so I wanted to show you what it would be like for my fiancé,” Gerin wrote in the caption. .

Jae’lynn is part of a wide range of plus-size content creators who share the “fat flight” reality. On TikTok, UK blogger Kirstyleanne shares her experience helping plus-size people travel the world.

Gerini states that his mission is “to give people the right to live life to the fullest” and to “show that bodies of all sizes and abilities are just as valuable as those that meet the standards of the cosmetological society.”

He added: “The body changes and changes over time, we believe that we should love and accept our body at every stage of our life.

“I will share my travel experience and show everyone that they can travel the world if that is what they dream of.”
