“It’s very important to separate parts of the day like work from private life and manage those boundaries.

“Don’t check work emails at night. If you consciously decide to quit, it activates the nervous system and puts our brain into fight, flight or mode.”

“One of the important steps to feeling more positive and happy is rebuilding your life. It doesn’t have to mean a complete overhaul, it’s eating your favorite breakfast, going to the gym. Whether that means going for a walk to start the morning.” , it can be as small as starting the day with a treat.

“Plus, it doesn’t have to be the start of the day. For a lot of people who stay up late instead of getting up early, it might be about building in a little self-care at the end of the day.”

“Feeling more positive doesn’t happen overnight, but taking a step in the right direction helps you feel like you’re waving goodbye to a negative rut.”
