Now for the final hurdle: “Do you have any questions for us?”
It’s tempting to just say no or listen to something that inevitably feels like dodging (it’s okay to ask how many vacations you’re taking, but you have to be there). that is all Question).

Paul Farrer, founder and president of Aspire, a digital media and marketing recruiting agency, believes it’s worth asking questions to help you decide if you really want to work.

How about the team?
“Ask potential employers how many people are currently on the team,” advises Paul. “What role? Who is responsible for what? How can the team grow or shrink? What personality traits do you find? The better you know.”
What is your driving style?
Are they more than a super practical type of “let me do it”?
How much you enjoy your job is up to your boss, so it’s worth saying no.

What type of training do you receive?
Show that you are willing to learn and find out what types of training are offered beyond your initial placement in the department. Then you can see how it grows and progresses.

“Continuing from the previous question, if you’re ambitious and want to climb the ladder, understanding how your prospective employer can help you get there is important,” Paul tells us.
How often do you receive performance reviews?
Pablo asks: “Would you like to receive a monthly, quarterly or yearly evaluation?
“Performance reviews are often tied to pay reviews.
“Knowing how often this happens is helpful not only from a financial perspective, but also from a detailed discussion with your manager about your performance.”
How can I know that I am doing a good job?
What is success like in this role? What are you grounded for? What are your goals?
How does your business approach prosperity?
“In recent years, we’ve moved to prioritize employee wellness, with companies adopting four workweeks, planning longer vacations and staff travel, providing mental health support and more,” says Paul. “If you have an idea of the kind of initiative you personally need, ask.”
How do you stand out from the competition and what do your customers like about you?
“Make sure you understand what your prospective employer thinks is the biggest difference compared to your competitors,” Paul suggests. This could be about products, customer service, how employees are treated, or social responsibility initiatives of various companies.
What do your customers and employees want to improve?
Juicy.
“Every company needs to be self-aware, both in terms of how to improve their services and how to become a better employer,” said Paul. “The sooner you understand what your business is trying to improve, the better.”
“And those who are aware of their problem areas and are open and willing to make a difference will find themselves working in a more enjoyable and fulfilling company.”
