“I just thought I’d throw the book I was reading across the room. My own millionaire, Lucky Bitch bestselling author Get Rich, and financial mindset coach Denise Dafield. Thomas says he describes how he was inspired by things Chillpreneur Book: New rules for creating success, freedom and wealth on your own terms (Hay House, £12.99)..
He woke up at 4:30 am every day, went to the gym, went to the office, and read a business book about an entrepreneur (male) who worked until 6:30 pm.
“Then he went home and had dinner with his wife and son, and then went back to work from 9 pm to 1 am,” Dennis recalls. In fact, I wrote WTF in the margin. My first idea is, do you have children? And a wife
Wait for my second thought. Is it a success?
This book was full of “crushing your targets” and “killing the competition.” It was the old patriarchal nonsense that still permeates corporate culture. “
And the idea for Van, the new Chillpreneur book, was born.
“The truth is that we don’t just repeat previous jobs, but we started our business because of the freedom and flexibility it gives us,” says Dennis. “I wanted to help others and have a very profitable business, but I didn’t leave myself as a shell of people glued to the computer screen.
“It’s time for a new kind of entrepreneur. It’s time for a laid-back planner!”
“I know it sounds a bit annoying, but it’s about finding new ways of doing business: what works for your bank account and contributes to your well-being. You and those who work for the land, and those who follow the path of least resistance.
Here Dennis talks about how to start a business you love, how to make money, and how to be happy.
What is the relationship between money and happiness?
Money alone cannot lead to a perfect and happy life. But we know it helps. Money can help you solve problems.
What is the secret of your success?
idea! Always working on your mindset is honestly the most important thing to master, if not the only thing. You can only find everything else on Google. Really.
The business is not so difficult. I’ve built million dollar businesses (while raising my kids) with no outside investment or brain work, and I think it all depends on my mindset.
As a child, I grew up on welfare and my family dreamed of winning the lottery, but I remember telling myself it was my lottery.
Many people do not believe that they can start a business. How do you build trust?
Join the community, read books, watch TV, and watch others build successful businesses. Immerse yourself in these spaces. Listen to podcasts, follow people on social media, and read books by people doing what they want to do.
Finding someone like you is very important: don’t look at straight white people (unless you’re single), find yourself. Because it helps you and those who look and sound like you to believe that it is possible to succeed.
How do you build trust?
I like to work in mirrors. Write on the mirror with a marker: “This is what the rich look like.” Since this is a self-building exercise, you have the courage to see opportunities, say “yes,” say “yes,” and post to your blog.
Learn how to easily create your own website, payment system and more. However, the hard work is internal. It does not agree with the old beliefs. I’m not enough. I don’t come from the right background. My accent is wrong.
Follow 5 people your age or age group. Prove to yourself that it is possible. Challenge your money block.
Working on your thinking is, to be honest, the most important thing to master, if not the only thing. You can only find everything else on Google.
money block?
Money blocks are our beliefs about money that prevent us from earning what we want.
The most popular is that you have to work hard to earn money. It’s interesting in many ways because we know that people in the community work very hard, but they don’t always make the most money.
Growing up in the pre-internet world, our people have a special vision of what work is. You go to work, you dedicate time and you get paid for those hours.
But there are many ways that people can make money by posting it on the internet, but our minds still can’t figure it out. You’ll see people win vanity press books, create their own courses, and become social media influencers. It’s kind of crazy to think that you can do what you love and make money.
What else prevents us from starting a business?
I recently spoke to UK clients about different views on money in different countries. Someone said there are always neat queues in the UK, so we talked about how you can demonstrate this ‘waiting for a turn’ feeling in your business. Maybe this is waiting in the UK for someone to give you permission to think you’re ready, or if you decide to do it yourself, wait for someone to check your ticket. You are doing?
Yes it is.
Another money block I often hear is that it is immoral to talk about money.
If you grow up with that, asking for a price increase, setting a price, sending an invoice, chasing an invoice, having a nasty money conversation with someone is really hard. Because it is said that every fiber of your being is really dishonest to talk about money.
I am from Newcastle, a working class town in Australia. One of my money blocks had a hit with the “too big for boots” rich.
If you have any advice for yourself, what is it?
I told him, “You are enough.” When I was young, I felt very vulnerable. I thought it wouldn’t be my time.
I lived in London in 2009, reading the tube on my way to work in London and starting my business when I was always reading stories about women’s success, but “I’m not good enough for this. There’s no such thing.”
I didn’t have to learn business logistics, I thought that was enough to keep me going for my time.
I encourage clients to do a meditation called Future You. Let’s see them in the future and say: What advice do you have for me? And most people say, “Be nice to yourself or move on.” This is what we need to hear, especially if no one in our life speaks to us. We need to encourage ourselves by saying that you are enough. you are enough.. And repeat it over and over again.
We are often asked what to teach children about money. And honestly I mostly teach them self-love and self-acceptance. Because that’s what I’ve really been struggling with for a long time.
We need to encourage each other saying that you are enough you are enough..
You are not alone!
Yes. Many of us women are trained to be good, good girls who give but don’t take. But it’s about challenging it, making incremental changes, and asking yourself: why not me?
We are used to getting things done and being patient. Self-esteem starts with thinking “maybe I’m more worthy” and acting like it’s true.
Do you know where I started? I give myself a new tea bag instead of using it 3 times.
But what do you do when con man syndrome strikes?
I still have impostor syndrome. Most are. But don’t let that stop you.
Being afraid is not your goal. If you wait for the fear to go away before you act, you will be waiting forever.
Believe that you are as good as you are now. Now is the time to move on. Don’t wait until you’re slimmer, better, and smarter. Let’s start today.
5 ways to know that you are a chili
You got the idea of wealth
As a relaxation planner, you accept a large number of ideas and recognize that they are enough for everyone, including money, clients, and opportunities. You know that you deserve the same as someone else, and that your gains are not someone else’s loss.
you are an optimist
You practice optimism and see a positive side in everything.
You can not run? “Next time, I can learn a lot from now on!”
Are there any technical issues on the way to the webinar? A juicy chapter for my next book.
Everything is convenient and nothing is lost. In fact, the flop is a great source for podcasts, blog posts, and future Opla interviews.
You care but keep things light
You care, but it’s isolated from the results. You know that a client’s “no” doesn’t mean you’re terrible at your job. Failure means you have to try again.
You take your work seriously and passionately, but still minimize it, such as sales reaction, customer results, and feedback from others.
You practice self-acceptance instead of worrying about changes in the opinions of others.
You want to do good things in the world
Chilplanar seeks mutual success. You don’t think making money is bad. Because he knows that you can do immense good in the world.
you kept it simple
You will follow the path of least resistance. Complexity does not complicate things. You try to find the most comfortable way.
