The huge mansion once owned by the Kray twins has sold for £2.25 million.

The same infamous twin brothers, Ronnie and Reggie Clay, were two of London’s most notorious mobsters in the 1950s and 1960s.

They were the crime bosses of The Firm, an organized crime gang wreaking havoc in London’s East End, and the two were responsible for murder, arson, and armed robbery.

The couple, who fled to Hadley, Suffolk during World War II, fell in love with the area and vowed to return and buy a house there.

They bought a mansion called Brooks in 1967 for just £11,000. And now it’s for sale for the first time in 30 years.

The light-filled mansion sits on 6.4 acres of land in Bildeston, away from Hadley’s High Street.
