What’s worse than having a great night out in London and then rushing home to catch the last train?

Thankfully, those late-night rides are finally a thing of the past (again, as the city’s nighttime subways resume operations).

London Underground night trains were fully restored last week for the first time since the start of the pandemic, delighting Londoners.

Some lines have slowly reopened in recent months. The Central and Victoria lines will reopen in November 2021, while the Jubilee and Northern lines will reopen in May and June respectively. And finally, last weekend, the Piccadilly line reopened.

Now that transportation doesn’t stop us, we’re bringing nightlife, drinking, and general fun to the capital.

If you’re not sure which ones are open until morning, we’ve rounded up some of the best places to visit.

This Soho speakeasy is perfect for late-night sophisticated cocktails. Owned by Rick Campbell and Will Bowlby, the team behind the cricket team, it’s no surprise that Indian inspiration can be found throughout this place.

Vegan Offerings (Photo: Beth Crockett)

What sets this London bar apart from the rest? It was the first vegan pub in the capital, even all the services were plant-based.

The menu of the day has excellent vegan options. Also, be sure to check out the Sunday roast. But in the evenings, the pub stays open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and 2 a.m. on Saturdays, so guests can enjoy the on-site cocktail list, which puts a vegan twist on beloved classics.
