(News Bulletin 247) – M6 publishes consolidated revenue of 1,357 ME for the 2022 financial year, down 2.4% compared to the previous financial year.
‘The decline in advertising revenues (-4.7%), in a context of deteriorating economic environment, is partly offset by the increase in non-advertising revenues (+8.0%)’, indicates the group.
At the same time, EBITA (excluding public aid) came to 334.4 ME, up 2.4% compared to 2021. On the other hand, operating profit (EBIT) was down 20.1%, at 312 ME.
In the end, net income group share over the period amounted to 161.5 ME, down 42.5% in one year.
According to the group’s supervisory board, ‘M6 has just published very positive results for the year 2022, which testify to its agility and solidity despite a more difficult economic and competitive context. This performance allows him to tackle the important challenges ahead of him with confidence.
The Supervisory Board also announced that it had appointed a new Board of Management, the current term of office expiring today.
This new college, appointed for a period of three years, will be chaired by Nicolas de Tavernost, in whom the Board’s confidence is renewed. It will also be composed of:
Karine Blouët, member in charge of public affairs;
Guillaume Charles, member in charge of antennas and content;
Henri de Fontaines, member in charge of strategy, transformation and development;
David Larramedy, member in charge of commercial activities.
