(Reuters) – Atos on Tuesday reported revenue growth in 2022, driven by the growth of its Evidian branch and the first positive results of the transformation plan for Tech Foundations.
The IT services group published annual revenue of 11.3 billion euros, up 4.6% and slightly above a Refinitiv consensus which gave it at 11.2 billion.
Revenue for the Evidian branch amounted to €5.3 billion, up 4.8% at constant exchange rates, while Tech Foundations posted revenue of 6.0 billion euros, down 1.6% organically, which nevertheless reflects an improving trend after the 11.4% drop suffered in 2021.
“Evidian accelerated its profitable growth, and Tech Foundations delivered the first rapid and tangible results of its transformation plan, returning to profitability three years ahead of schedule,” Atos said in a statement.
The French group said it was confident for 2023 and said it expected organic revenue growth of between -1% and 1% in 2023, with an acceleration in organic growth in its Evidian division offset by a reduction in Tech Foundations revenue resulting from the ongoing redesign of its portfolio.
Atos also expects an operating margin of between 4% and 5% for the current year.
The group has indicated that it is on the right track to carry out its plan to separate into two listed companies in the second half of 2023.
The group has decided not to propose a dividend.
