(News Bulletin 247) – Logic Instrument announced on Tuesday that it had generated a positive net result in 2022, a performance which allowed the title of the manufacturer of reinforced laptops and tablets to climb by more than 14% on the Paris Stock Exchange.
The group posted a positive net result of 24,000 euros for the 2022 financial year, to be compared with a loss of 840,000 euros at the end of the year 2021.
At 9.9 million euros, its turnover increased by 26%, an increase resulting from the gradual recovery of its customers’ activities, particularly in Germany and for export (customers in the USA and Turkey). .
The gross margin improved by 28% to stand at more than three million euros, for a margin rate up by 0.6 point to 30.3%.
In a press release, the Archos subsidiary said it displayed a “healthy” balance sheet situation after having managed to limit the impacts of the Covid pandemic.
Regarding its outlook, Logic believes that the geopolitical context is favorable to its activities in the defense sector with an increase in investment budgets in Europe, and in particular a major project in Germany which will be invoiced in the first half of 2023.
For the record, the company has been in discussions with Glacier Computers since the end of 2022 with a view to acquiring this company located in the Boston area.
