(News Bulletin 247) – Oracle Corporation announced results for the third quarter of fiscal 2023.

Total quarterly revenue increased 18% year-on-year in USD and 21% at constant currency to $12.4 billion.

GAAP net income was $1.9 billion, and non-GAAP net income was $3.4 billion. Third-quarter GAAP earnings per share were $0.68, while non-GAAP earnings per share were $1.22.

Short-term deferred revenue was $8.6 billion. Operating cash flow was $15.5 billion in the last twelve months.

Oracle’s board declares a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share, up 25% from $0.32.

“Our strong quarterly profit growth was driven by 48% growth at constant currency in revenue from our two cloud, infrastructure and applications businesses,” said Safra Catz, Oracle’s chief executive.

“Since acquiring Cerner, this company has grown its contract base by $5 billion,” added Larry Ellison, chairman of Oracle’s board of directors.
