(News Bulletin 247) – EssilorLuxottica announces consolidated revenue of 6,151 million euros in the first quarter of 2023, up 8.6% at constant exchange rates compared to revenue for the first quarter of 2022 ( +9.7% at current exchange rates).
The Professional Solutions division posted growth of 7.7% compared to 2022 over the same period (8.9% at current exchange rates). The Direct to Consumer division’s revenue increased by 9.4% compared to (+10.5% at current exchange rates).
All regions are accelerating compared to the fourth quarter of last year.
The North America region recorded revenue of 2,859 million euros, up 7.0% compared to the first quarter of 2022 (+11.4% at current exchange rates). The group formed by Europe, the Middle East and Africa recorded revenue of 2,194 million euros, up 8.9% (+6.8% at current exchange rates ).
The Asia-Pacific region recorded revenue of 750 million euros, up 12.0% (+9.4% at current exchange rates).
