Condolences to her family Barcelona!
THE Josep Maria Fusteplayer of the “Blaugrana” for a decade, passed away at the age of 82.
Fuste, who was nicknamed “the boy from Liniola” because of the town of the same name where he was born, played as a central midfielder in Barcelona from 1962 to 1972, while he was also an international with Spainconquering it European of 1964.
With Barcelona he played 277 games and scored 71 goals. When he left Catalonia in 1972, he played for two seasons with Hercules (1972-74), where he completed his career.
The president of the “Blaugrana”, Juan Laportahe himself sent his message about Fuste’s death. “My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Josep Maria Fuste, a man from the club, a legendary figure of Barcelona and the soul of the Barcelona ex-players group for many years. Rest in Peace”said the president of Barcelona.
