(News Bulletin 247) – Repsol announces that it has launched the supply of 100% renewable diesel at three service stations in Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon (Portugal). Thanks to this initiative, Repsol becomes the first Spanish company to distribute 100% renewable fuel in the Iberian Peninsula.
These three stations are already supplying renewable diesel produced from organic waste to business customers who have entered into agreements with Repsol, and this fuel will soon be made available to all customers.
The multi-energy company has an expansion plan to cover the main transport corridors of the Iberian Peninsula. By the end of the year, it will have 50 service stations selling 100% renewable fuel.
As part of its multi-energy strategy, Repsol is thus offering its customers a new 100% renewable product, in addition to its wide range of fuels for electric mobility, shared mobility (Wible), AutoGas, CNG/LNG and Neotech. .
Repsol’s Chief Customer Officer, Valero MarÃn, said: ‘This launch illustrates, once again, our commitment to the decarbonisation of transport in which we want to associate our customers.’
