(News Bulletin 247) – Atos and Greenspector announce that they have delivered to the Ministerial Delegation for Digital Health (DNS) and the Digital Health Agency (ANS) a service for calculating an ecoscore for web and mobile health applications , available online.
This tool for assessing the environmental footprint of health applications is part of the work program of the ethics unit of the Ministerial Delegation for Digital Health (DNS), which aims to promote eco-responsible digital health.
The project began in mid-2021 and from March 2022, the tool was accessible to the first ‘pilot’ users. Today, the ecoscore service has been used by more than 40 public and private publishers, candidates for listing their applications in Mon Espace Santé, and many publishers have entered the process of calculating their ecoscore.
“Our approach to eco-responsible digital health, which includes an ethical component and an environmental component, has received a very favorable reception at the international level,” underlines Brigitte Séroussi, project director at the Ministerial Delegation for Digital Health ( DNS) and Nathalie Baudinière, project manager at the Digital Health Agency (ANS).
