(News Bulletin 247) – ABB LV Installation Materials Beijing today celebrated a new milestone with the official opening of an automated production line for miniature flexible circuit breakers (MCBs).
New and improved manufacturing capabilities applying the latest automation, digital and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are expected to boost MCB production, availability and quality for ABB’s vast network of customers.
At the same time, ABB announces that its Frosinone site in Italy is integrating sustainability throughout the value chain for circuit breakers.
Guided by insights from ABB AbilityTM Energy Manager, ABB has improved the energy efficiency of every circuit breaker it produces in Frosinone by 25% – and reduced average Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions per product by 33% per compared to 2019.
