On the occasion of this first ‘keynote’ since the end of the pandemic, Jensen Huang – the founder and managing director of the processor manufacturer – lifted the veil on AI applications intended for ‘all sectors of activity’ .

“We have now reached a tipping point into a new era of computing with the acceleration of compute and AI that is now embraced by almost every IT company and cloud specialist,” he said. he declared from Taipei, in front of an audience of 3500 participants.

The American group has notably formalized a collaboration with the Japanese conglomerate SoftBank, which intends to deploy the ‘superchip’ GH200 Grace Hopper in its new data centers in Japan in order to be able to launch AI services and applications for 5G / 6G.

Nvidia also presented its new supercomputer, the DGX, also based on the GH200 architecture, and which should make it possible to generate large next-generation language models, for example for recommender systems and workloads in the data analysis.

According to the company, Google Cloud, Meta and Microsoft should soon take delivery of the first models of the device

Finally, note that the group has announced a partnership with MediaTek Partners with a view to developing new in-car entertainment experiences.
