(News Bulletin 247) – Mercedes-Benz completes its range of all-electric vans with the launch of the EQT van and eCitan,
The new EQT van is equipped with a 90 kW electric motor, two sliding doors, the MBUX infotainment system and numerous safety and assistance systems.
At fast charging stations, the 45kWh battery with the 80kW DC charger installed can be charged from 10 to 80% in 38 minutes. The range is 282 kilometers (WLTP).
In the commercial sector, the eCitan can now be ordered with a length of 4.498 meters in the compact version and 4.922 meters in the long version.
Depending on the variant chosen, the range is between 280 and 284 kilometers (in WLTP). Its 45 kWh battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in 38 minutes with the optionally installed 80 kW DC charger.
The manufacturer specifies that the loading volume and the payload are comparable to those of the Citan models with conventional propulsion. In the case of the compact van it is 2.9 m3 and up to 544 kg, in the long wheelbase version 3.62 m3 and up to 722 kg.
