(News Bulletin 247) – Miliboo announced on Thursday evening that it had closed its staggered 2022-2023 financial year with “solid” growth of 7.5% in the 4th quarter, in an environment still considered difficult for household consumption.

The digital furniture brand reported sales of nearly 9.9 million euros in the period from February 1 to April 30, compared to 9.3 million euros a year earlier.

In a press release, the ‘trendy’ furniture specialist evokes ‘more qualitative’ growth from its own distribution channels (Miliboo website and shops) and less recourse to third-party marketplaces.

The company stresses that this favorable momentum was accompanied by an increase in its gross margin, suggesting an improvement in its operating profitability over the second half of the year.

Over the past financial year as a whole, sales amounted to 42.3 million euros, up 8%.

Regarding its outlook, Miliboo says it perceives a “still gloomy” consumption context, while displaying the ambition to continue to gain market share and follow a path of profitable growth.

Following this publication, the title rose by 2% on Friday on the Paris Stock Exchange, which brought its gains to more than 14% over the whole week.
