(News Bulletin 247) – Orange announces the signing of a strategic partnership between Orange Middle East and Africa and Digital Africa.
The idea of this agreement is to foster and strengthen the growth of African startups by leveraging the expertise and resources of the Orange Digital Centers and Digital Africa.
Initially, the partners will work to identify and select ‘promising’ tech startups across the African continent.
Selected startups will then have the opportunity to access various resources, including mentorship programs, technical assistance, fundraising as well as networking opportunities through the Orange Digital Center and the community. Digital Africa.
As a reminder, Orange Digital Center (ODC) is an ecosystem deployed in 17 countries in Africa and the Middle East and 8 countries in Europe, which makes it possible to support, train and supervise young people and people with innovative ideas.
Thanks to this partnership, Orange and Digital Africa thus intend to continue their contributions to the development of ‘a flourishing ecosystem of start-ups in Africa’.
