(News Bulletin 247) – The wood pellet producer Cogra reported on Thursday a turnover of 51.2 million euros for its 2022/2023 financial year, ending at the end of June, up 22% .
In the 4th quarter, the turnover of the group based in Mende amounted to 8.8 million euros, again up 22%.
In its press release, the company mentions a “significant success” after its 2021/2022 financial year, which ended with 50% growth under the impetus of the start-up of its new factory.
Cogra explains that it took advantage of its strategy based on a policy of supply and management of “reasoned” tariffs, translated into “measured” increases, which enabled it to capture new customers and strengthen its distribution network.
The group is thus confident in its ability to achieve an EBITDA margin of at least 15% over the entire year, in accordance with its objectives.
Its expectations for the new 2023/24 financial year should be specified when the annual results are published, scheduled for September 11.
Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, Cogra shares rose 2.5% following these announcements.
