(News Bulletin 247) – Herige indicates that it recorded turnover of 228 million euros for the 2nd quarter, up 4% (but down 5.1% on a like-for-like basis) compared to the same period last year.

By activity, industrial carpentry increased by 44.5% (+8.4% on a like-for-like basis), while the concrete industry grew by 9.1% (+3.6% on a like-for-like basis) and the materials trading activity (the largest in terms of activity volume) fell by 5.6% on a current and comparable basis.

Over the whole of the 1st half of 2023, the Group’s turnover amounted to 455 ME, up 10.2% (+0.2% on a like-for-like basis), and therefore resisted as best it could, despite an economic environment characterized by the marked decline in new construction.

‘The priority is to continue to consolidate the level of operational performance’, assures the group which intends to rely on ‘the relevance of its strategic positioning’ but also its ‘commercial and industrial actions’ and on ‘an offer adapted to energy and decarbonization issues’.
