(News Bulletin 247) – GE announces that GE Vernova has appointed two new leaders to its management team. These appointments complete GE Vernova’s leadership team as the company prepares to launch as an independent company in early 2024.
Kenneth ‘Ken’ Parks will join GE Vernova as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective October 2, 2023.
Ken brings to this position extensive CFO experience in public companies and 38 years of comprehensive financial leadership. He notably held the position of chief financial officer of the global producer of building materials Owens Corning.
Additionally, Victor ‘Vic’ Abate, who currently leads GE Vernova’s onshore wind business, will expand his responsibilities with immediate effect to lead GE Vernova’s entire wind segment, which also includes offshore wind and LM Wind Power businesses. .
Vic has served as the Managing Director of Onshore Wind for the past 15 months, developing and leading operational and financial transformation efforts across the company.
