PARIS (Reuters) – Antoine Arnault, eldest son of LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, will step down from running high-end menswear brand Berluti in January, kicking off a management shake-up at several brands of the group.
Jean-Marc Mansvelt, general manager of historic jewelry brand Chaumet, will become general manager of Berluti, while Charles Leung, general manager of jeweler Fred, is named general manager of Chaumet.
The group will seek a successor to Charles Leung, who recently made waves by introducing customers to high-end jewelry containing lab-created diamonds.
Antoine Arnault, in charge of image and environment at LVMH and who negotiated a high-profile deal for the company to sponsor the Paris Olympics next summer, will remain president of Berluti, which he has led since 2012, as well as Loro Piana.
Bernard Arnault’s five children all occupy important positions within LVMH, but the succession of the 74-year-old CEO remains unknown.
