(News Bulletin 247) – The Luxembourg company specializing in technical services for new technologies continues its conquest outside France. Solutions 30 announces that it is joining forces with the German Unsere Grüne Glasfaser to deploy optical fiber across the Rhine.
Solutions 30 is moving up a gear in Germany. The European leader in solutions for new technologies (such as the installation of fiber or smart electricity meters such as Linky) announced this Monday that it had entered into a partnership with Unsere Grüne Glasfaser (UGG) to deploy a fiber optic network across the Rhine .
As part of this partnership described as strategic with the joint venture between Allianz and Telefónica, Solutions 30 says it will support UGG in achieving its objective of providing high-speed Internet access to around 2 million homes in Germany. Solutions 30 and Unsere Grüne Glasfaser will begin their cooperation with the connection to the town of Iserlohn, located around twenty kilometers from Dortmund.
After Benelux, it’s time for Germany
Investors appreciate this new conquest in a key territory for Solutions 30. At the top of the SBF 120, Atos shares are in fact increasing by 3% around 2:00 p.m.
In November, the company announced that it was partnering with the German GlasfaserPlus for the deployment of a fiber optic network (FTTH) across the Rhine. The partnership between Solutions 30 and the German operator initially aims to connect homes in Saarland and Bavaria. The German indicated that it would rely on the expertise of the Solutions 30 group to “provide access to high-speed internet to 4 million households, living in rural areas and small and medium-sized urban areas in Germany in the years to come”.
By advancing its pawns in Germany, Solutions 30 hopes to repeat the same success it experienced in the Benelux where its activity grew significantly in 2023 thanks to the deployment of optical fiber in the territory. In mid-December, the company indicated that it was counting on an increase in activity across the Rhine.
The former PC30 also declared last month that it was relying on a “clear and targeted operational strategy” to improve Ebitda margins this year towards “a double-digit rate” in the 8 countries where the company is based. Achieving this objective will involve optimizing costs and diversifying activities in France and the Benelux.
And for 2023, the company plans to achieve “double-digit growth”, allowing it to exceed the “symbolic milestone” of one billion euros in turnover. This level of growth would result in growth above 10%.
