PARIS (Reuters) – Valeo announced on Thursday the strengthening of its partnership with Google Cloud with the aim of developing new generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimize all of its operations.
The French automotive supplier announced that the two groups would work together on a range of best practices and innovations based on cloud computing, with the aim of responding more efficiently and with greater precision. to the specific needs of users.
In a statement, Valeo said that “using Google Cloud’s generative AI solutions will enable teams to accelerate and simplify all facets of the digital innovation process within the enterprise, with the potential not not only from more responsive product development, but also from efficiency gains across its operations.”
In February, Valeo lowered its sales targets for 2025, citing weaker-than-expected growth in the auto market, particularly for electric vehicles.
