(Reuters) – Vivendi said on Monday it was aiming to list Canal+ on the London Stock Exchange as part of a broader spin-off plan, and as the conglomerate continued to study the feasibility of such a deal.

It also provides for the listing of Havas on the Euronext Amsterdam market and of Louis Hachette group on Euronext growth in Paris.

The three companies would retain their decision-making center, their operational team and their tax residence in France. “The study carried out to date has demonstrated the feasibility of this project under satisfactory conditions,” Vivendi said in a press release.

Vivendi would remain listed on Euronext Paris while continuing its development and transformation activities at Gameloft and managing its portfolio of investments, the group said. It believes that a decision could be taken at the end of October with a view to submitting it to an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders that could be held in December.

The feasibility study for the split project was launched in December 2023 to address the group’s devaluation since 2021 with the distribution-listing of Universal Music Group.
