PARIS (Reuters) – The main European scholarships are progressing on Wednesday at the opening, the markets reacting to the publication of many results before the publication of Nvidia figures.

In Paris, the CAC 40 rises from 0.73% to 8.109.89 points around 8:05 am GMT. The Dax in Frankfurt is strengthened by 0.75%, while the FTSE in London increased by 0.62%.

The pan -European FTSEUROFIRST 300 index takes 0.46%, the Eurostoxx 50 0.68%and the STOXX 600 0.49%.

Danone figures (+1.7%), Stellantis (-3.9%), ASM International (-0.5%) or AB INBEV (suspended and indicated up 8%) will lead the indices on Wednesday.

The results season takes place better than hoped by observers, contributing to the performance of risky assets in Europe.

“The good figures for the fourth quarter had a positive impact on profits forecasts for this year,” said Bofa analysts, who recall that growth in action by action (BPA) for the Stoxx 600 reaches 3%, against 1% expected by consensus.

“BPA forecasts for 2025 have been revised upwards over four consecutive weeks, feeding the rally on European actions”.

The markets also hope that a cease-fire agreement between Russia and Ukraine could soon be found, Washington and Kyiv having agreed with the terms of a Ukrainian rare land agreement deemed crucial to obtain support from the United States.

Nvidia’s figures, expected after the closure of Wall Street, could make investors cautious about technological values.
