PARIS (Reuters) – The main European scholarships are slightly increasing at the start of the session Thursday before the monetary policy decision of the European Central Bank (ECB).
In Paris, the CAC 40 rises from 0.19% to 7819.57 points around 07:15 GMT. The Dax in Frankfurt is strengthened by 0.13%, while the FTSE in London increased by 0.02%.
The pan -European FTSEUROFirst 300 index takes 0.06%, the Eurostoxx 50 wins 0.2%and the Stoxx 600 grows by 0.14%.
The markets await the decision of monetary policy of the ECB which must face a sluggish economy in the euro zone and an inflation which fell below the objective of 2% of the institution in May.
“If there is no doubt that the European monetary institution will lower its 25 basis rates, it is once again the speech of Christine Lagarde that will have to be analyzed and which could bring many surprises …”, warns John Plassard, investment specialist at Mirabaud, in a note published Thursday.
The consensus decides for a break in monetary relaxation this summer after its eighth decline very likely this Thursday when Citi analysts stress that it is the economic consequences of the commercial policy of Donald Trump which will determine the pursuit of or not of monetary easing.
At the values, Eutestat lost 9.46% after Hanwha Systems proposed to sell his participation in the French group.
