With the representatives of the USA Colonel Richard P. Carver Mrs.ι Jessica Danyo for F-35 fighter aircraft issues met, today, Wednesday, May 25, in his office the head of GEETHA, General Konstantinos Floros.
As announced by the General Staff of National Defense (GEETHA), in the meeting the “present” was given by the following ‘US Defense in Greece Captain Michael E. Biery and the Head of Office of Defense Cooperation Colonel Kelly MacDonald.
During the meeting, they discussed F-35 procurement proceduresthe potential production schedule, deliveries and training of Air Force flight and technical personnel, as well as the support framework for fighter jets, including the required infrastructure and service facilities.

They also discussed the prospects of strengthening Greece’s military cooperation with both the United States and other countries participating in the F-35 program, both bilaterally and in an allied context, as well as other issues related to the implementation of the program in terms of domestic industrial participation.
