The release of 44 people was carried out by the forces of the Fire Service who rushed to the building of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Crafts (BETH).
According to newer information, six people have been admitted to Papanikolaou hospital. Four with mild respiratory problems, and two intubated. Three other people have been admitted to Agios Dimitrios Hospital with mild respiratory problems.

From there, the fire probably started and a large thermal load was created, which is why there was intense smoke that could be seen from afar. The fire did not spread to the next building “.
