Weekend weather: Heat and African dust – Where it will rain

High temperatures, local rains and African dust make up the scene weather at the weekend.

On Saturday the weather will be generally clear with rains in the afternoon in the mountains of Macedonia and Thrace and probably in the mountains of Epirus, Thessaly and central Sterea.

THE temperature will reach them 36 points. Mercury in Athena will show up to 33 and on Thessaloniki to 31.

The Sunday, local rains and sporadic thunderstorms are forecast in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea, western Peloponnese, Thessaly and Macedonia, while hail is not ruled out. Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust to the east and south. The temperature will reach up to 26 degrees Celsius.
