Bad weather “express” with rains, storms and African dust

Temporary worsening will show the weather from pre-noon to Ionian islands, western Sterea, Epirus and western Macedonia and from noon in central Macedonia, the northwestern Peloponnese and probably Thessalywith main features in places heavy rains and thunderstormswhich may be accompanied by hailstorms.

From the evening hours the effects will weaken.

Meteorological conditions favor transport of African dust to the east and south.

The winds in the west will blow south southwest 4 to 5, in the east south southeast 4 to 6 Beaufort that from the evening will turn to west southwest with the same intensity.

THE temperature will drop mainly in western Greece, where it will not exceed 25 to 26 degrees. In the rest of the mainland and the eastern island country it will reach 30 to 34 degrees Celsius.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: A few clouds that will gradually increase and in Macedonia there will be local rains and sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena, which will be strong in places in western and central Macedonia, are expected to weaken from the evening hours.
Winds: East southeast 3 to 4 and temporarily in Thrace locally 5 beaufort. From the evening in the western and central parts will turn to northwesterly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 19 to 33 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia the minimum is 4 to 5 points lower.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STAND, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: A few clouds that will gradually increase and from the pre-noon hours there will be local rains and sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena, which will be strong in places in the Ionian islands, Epirus, western Sterea and the northwestern Peloponnese, will weaken from the evening hours.
Winds: South southwest 3 to 4 and temporarily at noon in the Ionian locally 5 beauforts.
Temperature: From 18 to 26 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: In Thessaly a few clouds that will gradually increase and from noon there will be local rains and sporadic thunderstorms. The effects, which are likely to be strong in places at night, will stop.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: A few clouds until noon.
Winds: From south 4 to 6 beauforts. From late afternoon they will turn to west southwest with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 22 to 32 and locally in northern Crete up to 34 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased.
Winds: South southeast 4 to 6 beauforts.
Temperature: From 21 to 33 degrees Celsius.

EUBOEA
Weather: Generally clear with temporary clouds at noon and in the afternoon so there is a possibility of local showers in the mountains.
Winds: From south 4 to 6 beauforts. From the evening they will turn to westerners with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 17 to 31 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA
