The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 2,575. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,445,538 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.
The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 272 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 134,818 (3.8% of the total number of positive results)
There are 16 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, while a total of 29,803 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the epidemic. 2 95.6% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 132 (62.9% men). Their median age is 72 years. 93.2% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 63 (47.73%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 69 (52.27%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,680 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admissions of new COVID-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 87 (daily change + 2.35%). The average seven-day admission is 87 patients. The median age of cases is 36 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the
median age of death is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
