STEKI 46: The OKANA Supervised Use Area in the British Parliament, Oxford and Copenhagen

The Foreign scientists will visit the country and the OKANA ODC to also be informed about the comprehensive support of dependent active users provided by OKANA in the field. The work done on the street (streetwork), the reduction of the damage and the direct access of OKANA has been intensified in the last 2 years, contributing to the reduction of the nuisance, to the holistic support of the active users and to the protection of public health, not only in Athens , but also in Thessaloniki, Patras, Rethymno and Tripoli. This action has aroused international interest as it has results, and the practice of OKANA is mentioned in many international meetings and conferences by foreign bodies in the field of addictions.
