Her post in detail

Dear friends,
I have said many times that I am grateful for life, for all the moments it has given me, good and bad. Every trial makes you appreciate even more the divine gift that is life. With these thoughts and the need to thank you for the trust you have shown me over the years, I wanted to share with you what happened to me in September.

Although I was vaccinated six months ago and was ready for the third dose of the vaccine, I had the misfortune to go through the test of this invisible and scary covid-19. And it was a tough test.

I would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG) in Geneva for the care and assistance they have given me during the 4 weeks I have been there. From their work I understand the daily battle fought by doctors and nurses around the world, saving daily human lives and working with dedication and responsibility and at the same time optimism and self-denial. These people are our heroes. Thanks to them and the vaccine I had made I managed to avoid the worst.

A big thank you also to the tireless researchers who created the vaccine in such a short time.

The only way to save ourselves and our fellow human beings, our children, our grandchildren, our loved ones is to protect ourselves, to defend ourselves against covid, to be vaccinated. And to show confidence in science and experts.
We need to protect our health and the only way to regain our freedom is through vaccination.

The vaccine is our salvation.

It is not a matter of enforcement, it is a matter of necessity. Let us all help to find our health and safety again. All together. It is up to us to be vaccinated and to be free
With love
Thank you !
Nana Mouskouri
