According to information, the investigation of the case started from a complaint of a Greek, according to which a 59-year-old obstetrician demanded an “envelope” of 1000 eurosafter the birth of his wife despite the fact that she took place in a public hospital.
The husband told the doctor that he could not afford it and they finally agreed to give him the first 500 euros and then the rest.
In this context, the husband complained about the incident and at the meeting scheduled for the receipt of the remaining 500 euros which were pre-marked, the obstetrician was arrested.
The arrested person, with the case file against him, was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
