The philologists of the Social Tutoring Center of Agios Dimitrios, Dorita Damianou and Angeliki Lellou, characterized the topics as “expected, but difficult”. The two teachers, speaking to APE-MPE, stated that the issues “require very well-prepared candidates”.

The subject to which the three texts refer is expected, “due to the completion of 200 years since the Revolution of 1821 and 100 years since the Asia Minor Catastrophe,” they explain. In particular, the topic of this year’s national exams belongs to the wider section “Tradition and Culture”, which is taught to the students of DG Lyceum.

The structure of the four topics of the competition “is clear and follows the regulations of the way of evaluation of the course of Modern Greek Language and Literature, according to the Government Gazette of August 2019”.

However, topics B2 and B3 “are very demanding and require students to be very familiar with the language of the text and very good knowledge of the theory of the language choices of the author of a text”, describe Messrs. Damianos and Lellos.

The subject of the exhibition was history and historical knowledge: “It is worth learning about these dead. It’s worth knowing what they did, how they thought, how they lived. “

Three short texts “fell” in Literature: By Raimondos Albanou (The Greek Civil War. Memories of War and Contemporary Political Identities), an excerpt from a speech by Kiki Dimoula (from the book Eklithin oftilitria) and by Thanassis Valtinos (Urgent need). .
