From 10 to 18 June with the central slogan “unconditional” this year’s Athens Pride

The culmination of Athens Pride will be the Pride parade on Saturday, June 18, at 7 pm, starting at the Parliament.

With the central slogan “Unconditional” and a request for equality of all in marriage, family, education and inclusion, it is organized this year’s Athens Pride from 10 to 18 June.

“Human rights are universal and non-negotiable. All individuals are born indiscriminately free. “We have the right to freedom of speech and expression of personality, to physical integrity, to education, to marriage, to family, to work and to safety,” the organizers remind. However, as they add, nothing is valid in practice “when these rights should also cover our sexual orientation, characteristics, expression and gender identity. “Arbitrary restrictions based on non-existent estimates suddenly appear.”

The curtain of events opens on Friday 10 June and there will be concerts, exhibitions, performances, film screenings and discussions. Athens Pride climax will be the Pride parade on Saturday, June 18, at 7 pm, starting at the Parliament.
