The heavy smell that emanated from the closed house in a district in Pagrati, Lamia, revealed the tragedy 67-year-old woman.

The 67-year-old lived alone at home while had no contact with neighbors who did not look for her when they had not seen her. About 15 days ago they were first bothered by the smell of the decomposing body, but they believed that it was garbage and had notified the Municipality.
When the smell persisted, they combined the disappearance of the woman and called the police who on Friday morning (10/6) revealed the tragedy.
From the first information gathered by the forensic science, it does not seem that her death was due to a criminal act, however, the AT Lamia, which undertook the preliminary investigation, is examining all the possibilities, while the necropsy – autopsy in order to ascertain the cause of death of the unfortunate woman.
