The Greek presence in the actions carried out in the framework of the European Climate Pact counts significant successes. The European Climate Pact encourages all citizens to take action. It is a movement of people united around a common goal, each of whom, by taking steps in his own microcosm, can ultimately build a more sustainable Europe for all of us. Organizations as well as individuals can make a commitment to climate action. Commitments can be small, sustainable choices or large, bolder initiatives. These are practical changes that matter in our daily lives, in our world – from how we produce, consume, move, heat or cool our homes, to how we work and live together.

On the Pact and the European Green Agreement
Launched by the European Commission, the Climate Pact is part of the European Green Agreement and helps the EU achieve its goal of being the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050. The Green Agreement aims to make making the EU economy sustainable by turning climate and environmental challenges into opportunities and making the transition fair and inclusive.
By combining the Green Pact policy approach with the support of the Climate Pact for individual action, all levels of government and people can work together to limit the impact of human activity on the climate.
