The Little Heroes and Stoiximan employees accompany on the trip to Ai Strati

H Stoiximan, completes one more action under the program “Little Heroes for Greece”, aiming to meet the needs of residents of remote and inaccessible areas of the country.

Accompanied by the program ambassador,Olympian, Spyros Gianniotis, and her team “Coincidence” (Urban Non-Profit Company), employees of the company traveled to the remote island of Ai Stratis to inaugurate and deliver to the 32 students the new multipurpose field for the young and old heroes of the island.

The children of the island got to know Spyros Gianniotis up close, who spoke to him in his own, unique way, about the noble rivalry, the safety in the water and the dedication to the goals, and he answered all the questions of the young students. The Stoiximan team then handed over the reconstructed multi-stadium to the islanders and the day ended with a friendly match between the mission members and the islanders.

For the past four years, Stoiximan’s “Little Heroes” have been sponsoring and actively participating in the Coalition program, contributing to meeting the special needs of the outlying islands.
So far, actions have been carried out in Lipsi, Sikinos and Heraklion and of course in Ai Strati. In these islands, Stoiximan, has strengthened primary and secondary schools with modern educational equipment, has reconstructed the basketball courts in Lipsi and Sikinos and has installed special facilities (pillars) to supply electricity and water to the moored ships. of Heraklion.

For the first time in this program, employees of Stoiximan gave their presence, who traveled to the remote island, got to know them closely and contributed to the work of the Coalition. They became a group with the residents and created common memories and ties from this special trip to Ai Stratis, realizing in a more direct, experiential way, the social footprint of the company through the initiatives it implements in remote Greece. This three-day trip included a variety of activities for all participants as well. members of the mission participated in the clinics set up by the Coalition to provide free medical examinations to the inhabitants of the island, and inaugurated the new multi-field of the island together with Spyros Gianniotis.
