Unstable weather today with rains and thunderstorms

Local rains and sporadic thunderstorms will occur today initially in the central and north and at noon and afternoon in the rest of the mainland. The phenomena in Macedonia, Thessaly, Sterea and the Peloponnese are likely to be intense. The effects at night will weaken and at night they will be limited to central Macedonia, Thessaly, the Sporades, eastern Sterea and northern Evia.

The winds will blow from north directions in the west 3 to 5, in the east 4 to 6 and from noon in the Aegean locally 7 beauforts.
THE temperature will drop slightly and reach in places on their mainland 29 to 31 points and on their islands 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Initially in Macedonia and from the pre-noon hours in Thrace clouds temporarily increased with local rains and sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena that in places are likely to be intense at night will weaken and at night will be limited to central Macedonia.
Winds: From north 3 to 4 beauforts and gradually from noon to east 5 and at sea 6 beauforts.
Temperature: From 15 to 29 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 2 to 3 points lower.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STEREA, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: A few clouds that will gradually increase and there will be local rains and in the noon and afternoon hours on the mainland sporadic thunderstorms. The effects are likely to be intense in places.
Winds: From north 3 to 4 beauforts.
Temperature: From 18 to 30 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Initially in Thessaly and gradually in the rest of the regions clouds temporarily increased with local rains and in the noon and afternoon hours sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena that are likely to be strong in places at night will weaken and at night will be limited to Thessaly, the Sporades, northern Evia and eastern Sterea.
Winds: From north 3 to 5 and gradually to east 6 beaufort.
Temperature: From 18 to 31 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Generally clear.
Winds: North northwest 5 to 6 and gradually locally 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 21 to 28 degrees Celsius and in southern Crete up to 32 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: Generally clear.
Winds: North northwest 5 to 6 and gradually north 7 beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.

EUBOEA
Weather: Initially clear, but gradually clouds will develop and mainly in the central and north there will be local rains and in the noon and afternoon hours sporadic thunderstorms.
Winds: From north 4 to 5 and in the south local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA
Weather: Generally clear. Cloudy skies will develop in the noon and afternoon hours and there is a small chance of rain in the north.
Winds: From north 3 to 5 and in the east local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

THESSALONIKI
Weather: Clouds temporarily increased with local rains and sporadic thunderstorms, possibly temporarily strong.
Winds: North northwest 3 to 4 and temporarily up to 5 Beaufort and from noon south with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 18 to 28 degrees Celsius.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW SUNDAY 19-06-2022
In central Macedonia, Thessaly, eastern Sterea, the Sporades and northern Evia, unstable weather is forecast with temporarily increased clouds, local rains and sporadic thunderstorms. From the afternoon the effects will weaken. In the rest of the mainland and the Ionian islands, a few clouds that in the noon and afternoon hours will increase and local showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur.
In the Aegean islands and Crete generally clear weather, with local clouds in Crete until the afternoon.
The winds will blow in the west east 3 to 5 Beaufort and from the afternoon weak. In the east will blow north 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 beauforts, weakening from the night.
The temperature will not change significantly and will reach 26 to 28 degrees north and the rest of the mainland and islands 28 to 30 degrees Celsius.

FORECAST FOR MONDAY 20-06-2022
In eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the eastern Aegean, a few clouds are forecast temporarily increased, with local rains, isolated thunderstorms and improvement from the afternoon. In the rest of the country generally clear weather, with temporary clouds on the mainland in the noon and afternoon hours, when local showers will occur and in the mountains isolated thunderstorms.
The winds will be in the west variable 3 to 4 and from noon west northwest locally up to 5 Beaufort. In the east will blow north northwest 4 to 5 and in the Aegean locally 6 beauforts, from the afternoon they will turn to west northwest with a slight weakening.
The temperature will rise slightly, mainly in the west.

Generally clear weather, with a few temporary clouds in the northern mountains at noon and in the afternoon.
Visibility in the morning to the west will be locally limited.
The winds will blow west northwest 3 to 5 and in the southeast Aegean locally 6 beauforts.
The temperature will rise and will reach the mainland 34 to 35 degrees Celsius.
