Horror night for a driver from the area of ​​Messara at Heraklion who remained trapped inside his car for almost 12 hours afraid that in the slightest movement, the vehicle was held by trees will end up on the cliff.

In particular, it is one 69 year old man, who was moving from Kalous Limenes to the settlement of Chrysostomos and for an unknown reason was found on the cliff. The course of the vehicle was stopped by a cluster of trees, with him, however, from that moment not being able to make the slightest movement.

The hours, from yesterday early in the evening, until this morning, passed in testimony with him remaining motionless, not even being able to approach his cell phone to call for help.

Early in the morning, two passing drivers passing by the spot saw the vehicle on the cliff, stopped and hurried to see what was happening. They got off the spot where the vehicle had fallen and tried to help the 69-year-old man, who was in a state of shock.

A third vehicle passed by the spot, in which a local fisherman and his son were riding. They stopped to help too.

However, by the time the men of the Fire Brigade arrived at the spot, the passing drivers had managed to free the 69-year-old and take him to a safe place, where he was picked up by the EKAB ambulance and transported to the University General Hospital of Heraklion, which is on duty.

According to information, the 69-year-old driver, after the necessary examinations that was submitted, was found to be in good health and is not facing any problems. In fact, according to the information, he may be discharged directly from the hospital.
