The heat wave continues in Attica and on Thursday – In which areas will the mercury catch “40 amps”

The heat wave in Attica will continue on Thursday with the temperature reaching up to 39 degrees Celsius, while on Wednesday the mercury exceeded 40 degrees Celsius for the first time in 2022.

Generally clear weather is forecast for tomorrow in Attica with sparse clouds at intervals. The temperature will be maintained at high levels. The winds will be variable 3 to 4 beauforts and temporarily in the afternoon south to 4 beauforts. The temperature will range from 24 to 39 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy skies are expected in Macedonia and Thrace, which will increase rapidly and there will be rain and sporadic thunderstorms in places strong from the afternoon.

In the rest of the areas generally clear weather with temporary clouds at noon and in the afternoon on the mainland where there will be temporary showers in the mountains. Winds in the seas will blow west northwest 3 to 5 and in the south local up to 6 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 19 to 39 degrees in Thessaly and the eastern mainland up to 40 and in places 41 degrees Celsius.
